The National Center for Appropriate Technology (NCAT) is currently accepting applications from Montana schools, non-profits, or government organizations to host a FoodCorps member from August, 2013 through August, 2014.
FoodCorps is a nationwide team of leaders that connects kids to real food and helps them grow up healthy. As an AmeriCorps service member, these dedicated individuals give a full-time year of public service to help communities create school gardens, conduct nutrition education, and serve more healthy, local food in school meals (Farm to School).
To learn more about current Montana FoodCorps members and their community projects, check out their blog at www.montanafoodcorps.org.
