Youth Leadership Retreat April 27-28
Join us for a weekend of fun, idea sharing, and good food! The first-ever Youth Leadership Retreat, open to Montana high school freshman, sophomores and juniors, is an interactive leadership retreat centered on healthy living and sustainable food and agriculture. We want you to be a part of this formative experience.
The Youth Leadership Retreat is hosted by the Farm to Cafeteria Network and the National Center for Appropriate Technology (NCAT) and will be held at Camp Mak-A-Dream in Goldcreek, Montana.
We will review applications and invite 34 students from 17 schools to participate in the retreat. A faculty member or advisor will join selected students, creating a three-person team from each school. At the Youth Leadership Retreat, you will have the opportunity to lead discussions about food and agriculture issues at your school, present about school or community food projects, participate in communication and leadership training, and brainstorm ideas for future projects and collaboration.
The weekend will provide space for young people to come together to share knowledge, energy, and inspiration about why food is important to you and your community.

We hope to see you there!
